Fast & Fabulous Layout Class - New!

We are so lucky to have Jodi Russell teaching a quick and easy 4-page layout class, something that many of you have been asking for. Fast and Fabulous Layouts will teach you ways create well-designed pages in a snap, and you'll be able to use the things you learn over and over again.

In this month's class we’ll make two double 12 x 12 layouts, each with a “favorite” theme. 

The first layout uses Bo Bunny’s Delilah papers and stickers to create a layout perfect for your favorite fall or Thanksgiving photos. We’ll learn how to layer paper and these fun pre-printed border strips to create a design that can be easily replicated on your album pages.  

Learning to alter our layout sketch, we’ll create a second double page layout with a holiday theme. This holiday layout will utilize Making Memories Mistletoe papers. By layering patterned paper strips to create our own, unique borders and creating our own embellishments, we’ll complete a layout that is simple, attractive and economical. This layout has space to showcase 7 photos. Choose your own seven holiday favorites...favorite people, holiday treats, activities, memories etc.

Saturday Demo - Embellish Your Die Cuts

 
Drop by Saturday, October 24 between 1:00 and 4:00pm to see our free demonstration! Dangeli will be demonstrating ways to embellish your die cuts with everything from ink to glitter. She'll also be using the Slice. Come get inspired!

LYB Christmas is In!

The Little Yellow Bicycle Christmas line, 25 Days, is in! We actually got it last week, but I feel like I'm still seeing new things in this section every day. There are so many fun things in the line! Chipboard snowflakes, a Christmas journaling tablet, chipboard buttons, a mini album, gorgeous papers, even a Christmas countdown kit! If it seems a little early for Christmas, watch out--this stuff will be gone before you know it!

Basic Grey Cards Kits Available

Today is your last chance to sign up for our encore class of Basic Grey cards using the "Eerie" line! We have a second class Friday morning from 10:00am to Noon. Can't make it? Kits are also available.

Halloween Test Tube Favors

I love these new test tubes from Martha Stewart that we just got in. Just add candy, a little ribbon, and a spooky die cut for a fun Halloween party favor! Only $1.99 each.

Mini Book "Signs of Fall"

I fell in love with Reminisce "Autumn Forest" line when I saw the over sized stickers that went with it.  I couldn't resist the fuzzy creatures, sunflower and pumpkin.  The book base is the jumbo scallop page from our die cut center cut in half.  The inside pages are covered with the adorable patterned paper and cardstock.  There's plenty of room for photos from all of your favorite fall activities.

This class will be taught on October 28th.

50% Off American Crafts Ribbon!

I am a ribbon junkie. I have a closet full of ribbon just so that I'll have the right color or texture for ever project. So naturally I was more than a little excited when I heard this news. Remember that amazing ribbon sale we had over Labor Day? Well, we had a few bolts left over, and starting today it's 50% off! You'll find it in the classroom, but not for long. Making Memories Weekend Was a Blast!

If you didn't get a chance to stop by during our Making Memories weekend, you seriously missed out! These two beautiful ladies, Marianne and Jen, spoiled us rotten with fabulous Making Memories products (including free Slice machines for two of our lucky customers!), plus incredible classes and sweet make 'n takes! We had so much fun with them and can't wait to see them again next year. Thanks, ladies!

And of course, the most exciting part--our two Slice winners! Congratulations to Ginger Ropp and Carolyn Sapien! Ginger was there when we pulled her name, and it was so fun to see her reaction!

 
 
Jennifer put in so much time and effort to make this weekend happen--she even stayed late both nights (and she is so not a night person!). We think this self-proclaimed "pink girl" totally deserved her own PINK Slice!
